The CCU is another product in DATAC's Distribution
Management Telemetry System (DMTS). The device is installed
at a cylinder bank in conjunction with an automatic
changeover regulator. When one bank of cylinders is
empty, the pressure differential switches the changeover
regulator to a new, full cylinder.
At this point, the CCU sends a message over radio,
via GSM/GPRS or a PSTN connection to the software server.
This allows the operator facilitate a replacement of
the cylinder.
