DATAC SYSTEM 922 RTU
The
922 RTU is a small, low power RTU for use in installations
where the quantity of I/O signals is small and the available
power supply is limited. Its rugged design includes:
- wide power supply range (4.5V- 28Vdc)
- wide temperature operation from -20 to +60oC
- weatherproof housing (up to IP68)
- a range of input modules
A typical I/O configuration will support 8 digital inputs,
8 command outputs and 8 analog inputs, but the modular approach
means that it is expandable. A variety of communications options
are available including radio, cellular phone (GSM), dial
up line, leased line and VSAT.
The 922 conserves power by means of its sleep mode capability.
It spends most of its life in a dormant state where it consumes
very little power. It awakes at scheduled intervals to read
inputs and transmit status to the master. In addition it can
be configured to wake upon occurrence of an alarm, or when
contacted by its master, or another RTU. Hence the alarms
can be reported in realtime or logged and reported at the
scheduled time.
All of this comes in a product which is easily setup and
configured, thus minimizing installation costs. It offers
the user a competitively priced way to monitor and control
small systems or standalone pieces of equipment.
