FlexWin uniquely combines a Microsoft® Windows™ user interface
with a real-time multitasking front end. The result is an
extremely stable and robust SCADA system with an interface
which is both user friendly and provides an open access point
to corporate IT systems.
FlexWin is designed to provide easy access to your process
information from anywhere around the world. FlexWin's front
end takes full advantage of a robust real-time operating system
for the mission critical control, monitoring, communications,
and alarm handling routines. By integrating this with a Microsoft
Windows interface you add enhanced functionality.
The real-time operating system is embedded and transparent
to the Microsoft Windows user. Both systems run simultaneously,
greatly improving information reliability, presentation and
access. All operator interaction with the system is in the
Windows environment.
Multiple nodes can be connected to the system using TCP/IP
for both permanent and/or occasional users. Remote access
is available over dial-up lines, the Internet, company intranets
or via Ethernet (standard or wireless), satellite, etc.
